In 2010, we conducted a survey of 122 Physical Therapists and 29 Occupational Therapists. Here are some highlights.

88% of therapists surveyed use the Amtryke during therapy.
Therapists regularly use the Amtryke to improve:
  • Reciprocal movement: 66%
  • Coordination: 65.9%
  • Bilateral Movement: 62.7%
  • Strengthening Lower Extremities: 61.9%
  • Strengthening Upper Extremities: 58.5%
Among clients who use the Amtryke in therapy, therapists report increased:
  • Positive affect: 97.1%
  • Responsiveness: 93.4%
  • Effort level: 93.8%
  • Degree of Focus: 83.2%
Therapists report using the Amtryke most often for people with the following diagnoses:
  • Cerebral Palsy: 91.4%
  • Developmental Delay: 88.8%
  • Down Syndrome / Downs Syndrome: 75.7%
  • Autism: 65.1%
  • Spina Bifida: 53.3%
