Wish List

It is time to make it happen, There are over 300 kids on the wish list and Christmas is coming. Let's show the world that Ambucs can work shoulders together and make it all happen.

Ask your employeers, your family members, your friends, what a better joy than proving an AmTryke for a person for Christmas.

I challenge you to step up and make a difference, I am going to donate personally and through my club, and am challenging all my members to chip in, a few small donations will add up to an AmTryke for a child.

Help us make it happen. amtrykemama

Posted to: Wish List

First time!!!

I was given this website by one of the doctors that did a study on my 7 year old daughter. She told me I may be able to get help with learning materials for my daughter, Lyndsey. She is in 1st grade for the second time this year and she is functioning at a 4 year old age level. She has learning disabilities. If someone could get back to me and let me know if there is anyway I may be able to get help for my daughter, please do so. I gave my e-mail address when I registered. Thank you!!!

Posted to: First time!!!

Re: Why did you decide to join AMBUCS?

I joined right after I got out of the Navy so I could build up business contacts for my Awards business. I went to just 3 meetings that first 10 months or so. I finally got a call from a member I didn't know inviting me to attend a special lunch.

Since they took the time to call, I decided to go. We took a tour through through Ken-O-Sha school where 50% of the population of the students are challenged. Our chapter provided a lot of funds to buy adaptive equipment there. One young man with no legs that was getting around on a cart came up to me and hugged my leg and wouldn't let go. He was all smiles because we were there.

From that moment on, I was all about the cause!

Posted to: Why did you decide to join AMBUCS?

We expect to have those final totals ready by the beginning of next week. A formal announcement will then be made to acknowledge all of our top donors and corporate sponsors.

A lot of people played a major part in making this year's Trek event an overwhelming success, so we really want to make sure we give them the proper credit they deserve.

Posted to: We've now raised over $2000 for the trek for trykes walk-a-thon
